When the time came for my wife and I to re landscape our backyard we set about to sketch out our plans. After untold hours and much frustration we came to the conclusion that we did not have the skills or vision to put on paper what we had in our minds. We thought it would be an easy task but again and again we came up short, unable to draw out our thoughts and more importantly how to make it fit the size of our backyard. We knew that without a clear plan we would never be successful to have a contractor provide us with the yard of our dreams. (we had been down that road in the past on another project).  

  Then we happened upon a flyer for Affordable landscaping Solutions.  We called and received a prompt reply from Gio and an appointment was set up. Gio arrived at the scheduled time and after some brief introductions he got down to work. Gio asked all the right questions and very soon my wife and I both felt Gio took this task very seriously and his goal was to provide us with a backyard that we would love beyond our expectations. Gio returned later in the week to take some photos and measure our yard. He assured us he would be back in touch with us shortly with his design. When we saw Gio’s plans we were very excited. The plans were done beautifully and very detailed. The ability to see what our “New Yard ” would look like was very encouraging and we were excited to get going.  Gio provided the names of some contractors to interview and we met a contractor we were very pleased with. 

Now we have an incredible back yard and we could have never done it without Gio. He has a passion for this work and is extremely talented. It was very refreshing to deal with an individual that was all about integrity and providing the client with a quality product. If he said he did it. Throughout the project Gio was always available, courteous, patient and helpful. He was there when he said he would be and went “Above and Beyond” for us during this project.

We called Bella Terra, formerly Affordable Landscape Solutions, by mistake.  We were looking for a construction contractor to take our water guzzling landscape to an attractive drought tolerant design; it turned out to be the best mistake we ever made!  We had an idea of a dry creek bed and some boulders and Bella Terra came up with an incredible design that we could never have envisioned; not only is it perfect for our needs, it is beautiful.

Gio was with us every step of the way even after we paid him in full!  He was involved in all aspects of our landscape from consulting with contractors about the drainage,irrigation system, lighting and, rock, to providing a horticulturalist, Courtney, who chose the right plants for our soil and climate.  Gio ensured that everything was to our liking and up to his perfectionistic standards.  He saved us many costly headaches and it was a small price to pay for such a beautiful design.  We highly recommend Bella Terra to anyone wanting a landscape makeover.

When we built our new home in Oceanside, choosing Gio to design our landscape was one of the smartest decisions we made.  Not only did he listen well and respond creatively, but he helped us through the entire process – from getting and evaluating bids, providing oversight to the contractor we chose, and making revisions to keep our expanding appetite within budget along the way.

When we first started our landscaping project we thought we knew what we wanted.  Truth is we really didn’t.  When we met with Gio, from Bella Tera Landscaping, he listened to our wants and wishes.  Little did we know how much went into the planning.  When we saw the presentation that Gio did for us we saw everything we had wanted plus more.  EVERY detail was taken into consideration.  We were so grateful to have an entire plan presented to us showing the irrigation plan, the lighting plan, the drainage plan,  and with the help of a certified horticulturist,who worked with Bella Tera, we had the perfect planting plan.  Our designer also helped us select a contractor who he has worked with and we were in for the most wonderful experience of transformation for our landscaping.  The plans were followed by everyone who worked on the project and the workers were talented and diligent about their work.  My husband and I are so amazed at the entire transformation of both our front and back yard.  Everything is beautiful and now we have our own peaceful oasis to enjoy each and every day.  Even when Gio had presented us with the plans we continue to call him with questions, and he was always there to answer and even come to our home several times to ensure all was being done to plan..  We can say enough about our relationship with Bella Tera Landscaping.  We would highly recommend Gio and the Bella Tera staff for your projects.  You won’t be disappointed.
